Q: What is the difference between a satin tag and a tear-away label?
A: Satin labels are made of fabric and sewn into the neckline of the garment. These are more difficult to remove and tend to require the use of scissors and a seam ripper so as to not damage the garment. Tearaway labels are made of a thin, paper-like material that is quickly and easily removable by hand.
